Description
THE PRETENDER
An expressionist portrait inspired by the intensity and energy of rock. The penetrating gaze, the expression, and the power of color build an image that seems to transcend the canvas, honoring Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.
Following that piece presented to Dave at Lollapalooza AR 2022, I wanted to create a more intricate artwork that commemorates that epic show.
